Enjoy a 3-day weekend in self-catering, from Friday 12:00 to Sunday late afternoon, in an enchanting setting offering the possibility of welcoming 44 guests for two nights. Our accommodations include the Château, its outbuildings and our gîte Domaine Les Poultières.
You will have access to our reception room that can accommodate 80 seated guests, as well as the 75 m2 "Billiard" lounge. Enjoy our gardens for your cocktails or secular ceremonies, with the added bonus of access to the swimming pool and tennis court and the large lawn, opposite the pond, where you can set up the tent of your dreams.

Nestled in the heart of a 1200 m² interior courtyard, bordered by lush lawns, this room located in a restored old farmhouse seduces with its red floor tiles, its large fireplace and its exposed wooden beams. The adjacent professional kitchen is designed to meet the requirements of caterers. Opposite, the vast 75 m² "Billard" lounge can be transformed into a "Bar" area or set up to entertain children.

During our search for a wedding venue, we had a number of criteria to meet: a charming place, without being too ostentatious, and able to accommodate around fifty guests. Le Chereau perfectly met our expectations! During our first visit, we were won over by Alec’s personality and the beauty of the venue. Everything went smoothly on the day, thanks to Alec’s dedication, as he was responsive to even the smallest of our requests. We were delighted.

We celebrated my 80th birthday at Château Le Chereau in April 2024 with 18 guests from Poland, England, and France, and spent four wonderful days there.
The estate is beautiful, with a tastefully decorated manor house, spacious outbuildings, lovely gardens, a tennis court, and a lake, making it ideal for a family celebration. Alec, the site manager, was extremely helpful before our arrival, providing plans, photos, and information, and recommending a local chef who prepared delicious meals and catered to different dietary needs.
We felt completely at home — private, comfortable, and very well looked after. Château Le Chereau was an exceptional venue for our family reunion, and we left with unforgettable memories. Highly recommended.

We got married on July 1st at Château de Chereau, and it was absolutely perfect. We rented the château and the gîtes for the week, which allowed us to relax on the big day and then enjoy the pool and grounds with our close family and friends.
The main reception room was ideal for our 50-guest wedding and for the brunch the next day. This let us enjoy the beautiful floral décor twice, without having to worry about the weather. All the vendors recommended by Mr. de la Barre were excellent.
The bridal room, located in a private tower, offered both privacy and the chance to spend time with our family. I would highly recommend this château to any couple looking to get married in Sologne, in a beautiful countryside setting that is still relatively close to Paris
